2 slices of whole-grain bread
1 avocado – make sure it is ripe and ready to eat
1 tsp fresh lime juice
a pinch of Salt
a pinch of Pepper
Avocado Toast Recipe Method
- Toast your bread
- Cook the eggs to your preference. Fried, scrambled, poached or boiled, whatever you like.
- Peel and mash your avocado. Be careful removing the stone from the centre. Add the lime juice, salt and pepper.
- Spread your avocado mash onto your toast evenly. Place the eggs on top. Add any additional seasonings you may want and enjoy!
- For an added boost of nutrition, you can sprinkle over your favourite seeds , like sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.
